Pray with Sacred: sessions, guided prayers and reminders
Start a prayer session, let Sacred offer a prayer for how you feel, and keep a rhythm with a daily reminder.
Updated October 27, 2026
Sacred gives you a quiet place to pray, with a prayer to begin from and a record of the prayers you’ve prayed.
Pray now
- Open the Prayer tab and tap Pray Now.
- Tell Sacred how you’re feeling, or skip.
- Read the prayer it offers, then tap Amen when you’re done. A verse closes the moment.
The screen stays awake while you pray.
Pray for a request
- Open a prayer request and tap Pray Now.
- Choose how you’re feeling, read the prayer Sacred suggests, and let the timer run.
- Tap Done when you finish, and leave a short reflection if you like.
Guided prayers
Guided Prayers on the Prayer tab holds a library of short, scripture-based prayers by theme — comfort, gratitude, guidance, morning, evening and more — in English, Spanish and French. Sacred draws on it for the prayer it offers you, and avoids repeating one within the week.
Prayers you’ve prayed
Every prayer you said Amen to is kept under Prayers you’ve prayed, reached from the Prayer tab or from Guided Prayers. Tap one to read it again, copy it, or share it.
A daily verse to begin
Each day Sacred surfaces a Bible verse you can read as you start. It’s a gentle way to settle in before you pray.
A daily reminder to pray
A reminder at the same time each day helps build a consistent rhythm.
- Open Settings → Notifications.
- Under Prayer reminders, turn on Daily prayer reminder.
- Tap Reminder Time to choose when it arrives.
The reminder is synced, so it arrives on every device you’re signed in to. Tapping it takes you straight into a short guided prayer. To be reminded about a specific request instead, see Create and track prayer requests. To keep distracting apps closed until you’ve prayed, see Prayer Gate.
