Find your way around Sacred

A quick tour of the main areas of the app — Hymnals, Prayer, Diary, Notes, and Settings.

Updated October 20, 2026

Sacred brings your hymnal, prayer life, journal, and notes together in one calm space. Here’s a quick map so you know where everything lives.

The main areas

Sacred is organized into a few sections you can switch between from the bottom bar on phone, or the navigation rail / sidebar on tablet and desktop:

  • Hymnals — browse and download hymn collections (some come in several languages), search, play tunes, and mark favorites.
  • Prayer — keep prayer requests, run timed prayer sessions, and read a daily Bible verse.
  • Diary — write private journal entries with mood, prompts, and a calendar.
  • Notes — capture formatted notes, organized with folders and tags.
  • Settings — appearance, language, account, and more.

What to try first

  1. Open Hymnals and tap a collection to start reading.
  2. Tap the heart on a hymn you love to add it to your favorites.
  3. Visit Prayer to add your first prayer request.

You don’t need an account to start — Sacred works fully on your device. Sign in later to sync everything across your phone, tablet, and computer.
